Pingshan Book Rooms are a series of community libraries in Pingshan. Whether situated in renovated historic sites or nature parks, they provide a refreshing cultural experience for book lovers. Here, we recommend two book rooms in parks where visitors can unwind after a leisurely stroll through the parks.

Big Lawn Book Room 坪山城市书房•大草坪书亭

Located on the lawn of Pingshan District Central Park, the Big Lawn Book Room features an airy design with glass walls, offering a comfortable space with scenic views of the park. In addition to a wide selection of books, it showcases nearly 40 species of potted plants accompanied by informative descriptions. Visitors can also enjoy coffee and fresh fruit while relaxing in the space.

Green Lawn Book Room 坪山城市书房•青青草儿童书房

Reflecting Pingshan’s natural ecological environment, this book room is situated inside Pingshan Children’s Park. It makes full use of the original topography, preserving the mountain landscape and plant diversity to the greatest extent. Housing over 8,000 books, the room also displays plant and insect specimens.
