In Pingshan, you can enjoy comfortable leisurely time with your fluffy pets at seven pet-friendly spaces on urban green belts or in parks.

The Base for Popularizing Knowledge of Dog Rearing opened in 2022. The remaining six spaces, each occupying approximately 200 square meters, are enclosed or semi-enclosed by fences or green belts to avoid disturbing other citizens. Each pet-friendly activity space is equipped with a dog activity area and a resting area, as well as basic dog recreational and training facilities such as hoops, climbing boards, balance beams, and low-high platforms, allowing your furry companions to enjoy various activities.

These pet-friendly spaces not only meet the daily needs of pet owners but also serve as venues for promoting well-mannered dog ownership. Each space is equipped with signage and regulations promoting owner’s responsible behavior. In the future, these spaces will hold educational activities to enhance public awareness of responsible dog ownership and strengthen dog management in public places.

At the Base for Popularizing Knowledge of Dog Rearing, you can learn how to raise dogs, understand the specific requirements and procedures for adopting dogs, and participate in activities related to pet care. Let’s develop responsible dog ownership habits and become more knowledgeable pet parents. The base is located at the east gate of Guangzu Park and is near to Kengzi Metro Station on Line 14.

This pet space is under the wall on the west side of Pingshan Park and is near to Pingshanwei Metro Station on Lines 14 and 16.

Riverside green belt, Shahu 沙湖河边公园绿化带

This pet space is situated on the green belt north of Pingshan River, near Shahu Road. The nearest Metro station is Jinlong Station on Line 14.

Hechangxia, Xiuxin Community 秀新社区禾场吓

This pet space is located north of Xiuxin School and is near to Kengzi Metro Station on Line 14.

This pet space is situated north of Shenzhen Technology University and the nearest Metro station is Technology University Station on Line 16.

This pet space is located east of Shenzhen Technology University and the nearest Metro station is Technology University Station on Line 16.

Green belt near Tianluan Lake Garden 天峦湖花园周边绿化带

This pet space is located on the northeast tip of Maluan Mountain and the nearest SkyShuttle station is BYD Station and the nearest Metro station is Pinghuan Station on Line 16.

Pet owners can dispose of pet waste by using bags provided by the pet-friendly spaces.
