In Shenzhen, citizens are allowed to pitch tents in designated areas in parks and a tent should be no larger than 5 square meters nor taller than 1.5 meters. Cooking with fire is prohibited in tent areas in parks, smoking is not allowed inside tents and campers should not stay overnight in parks.

Pingshan Central Park 坪山中心公园

There’s a large lake inside Pingshan Central Park. In addition to camping, parkgoers can also check out an array of cultural venues nearby, such as the Pingshan Art Museum, Pingshan Library and Pingshan Theater.

Julong Mountain Ecological Park 聚龙山生态公园

Julong Mountain Ecological Park is very spacious with massive greenery, lakes and wetlands. In spring, residents don’t have to travel far to other districts to appreciate cherry blossoms as the park has pink and red cherry blossoms, as well as water lilies and peach blossoms.

Guangzu Park 光祖公园

Only 2 kilometers away from Julong Mountain Ecological Park’s north entrance, Guangzu Park is also an ideal place for camping where citizens can admire the pinkish-purple lily magnolia in spring.
