Pingshan Art Museum is asking for portrait photos of people living or working in Pingshan District to help record the history and stories of the area.

Any person from any country who is now working or living in Pingshan can submit a portrait photo with a light-color background without filters by June 20. Black-and-white or color photos with a size of at least 2M are accepted. When you send your photo to the museum via email, you should write your name, age, the duration you’ve been in Pingshan, your occupation and a few words you would like to express in the email. The email subject should be “坪山人造像征集 + your name.”

The museum will then invite artist Liu Qingyuan to do art based on these photos, which will be exhibited in August. The original portrait photos will not be on display.
