The 2016 CBDF China Cup Tour Final, the largest ballroom dance competition in China, is being held in Shenzhen until Dec. 18.

Organized by the China Ballroom Dance Federation and Luohu District’s cultural and sports bureau, the competition is professional and established. As well, the ranking of China’s ballroom dancers mainly depends on the results of the competition.

The tour has already concluded in five cities including Changchun, Shanghai, Shijiazhuang, Xiamen and Wuhan. More than 6,000 contestants from more than 20 provinces and cities, including Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Hubei and so on, participated in the competition. There were more than 200 teams and about 9,000 groups. In Shenzhen, the top 24 dancers of the professional category and the top 48 dancers of the Category A will participate in the finals.

This year, the organizers invited big-time judges from the United Kingdom, Canada, Russia and other countries. The competition has set a prize of 180,000 yuan for the best performance.

As a treat for the eyes, the World Superstar Performance Party on Friday night will invite top dancers from the United Kingdom, Italy, Canada and China to bring their best.
