A series of events has begun across Pingshan District to welcome the 2026 Chinese New Year, with more activities scheduled in the coming days.

Park fair 

A five-day fair at Pingshan District Central Park offers a lively mix of lion and qilin dances, fish lantern parades, drone shows, night galas, insect-themed light displays, a food and game market, and festive goods booths — a unique blend of shopping, entertainment and dining.

Flower fair 

The main venue of Pingshan District’s Chinese New Year flower fair is at Pingshan Sports Center, with several sub-venues across the district. Covering 6,800 square meters, the main site hosts 128 booths selling popular local flowers such as orchids, narcissus and peach blossoms, as well as festive goods, snacks and handicrafts. Folk performances, magic shows and dances add to the festive atmosphere.

Now through April 17, moviegoers who make purchases at MixC Cinema in Pingshan Culture Center can receive discounts on ticketed exhibitions at Pingshan Exhibition Gallery for up to one week after their visit.

Bring home Pingshan-made gadgets and gifts for the upcoming Chinese New Year. A variety of trendy products are on sale at “Pingshan Station” in Gangxia North, and you can also order in-store and have items delivered to your home.
