Li Min, a senior editor of China Daily’s visual center, is exhibiting her illustrations published in the newspaper at an exhibition running through Jan. 6, 2025.
Her illustrations, which seamlessly blend traditional Chinese cultural elements with modern aesthetics, are celebrated as reflections of the changes in China, the diverse lives of its people, and the fusion of culture and technology. Through her delicate strokes, Li tells contemporary Chinese stories, allowing viewers to feel the warmth and strength inherent in these narratives.

Since China Daily’s international edition was launched in 2010, Li has designed more than 500 front pages for the newspaper.
At the exhibition, visitors can experience a colorful, inclusive and innovative vision of China, as well as its aspirations for global connection and mutual development. Chinese stories are presented in an engaging and heartfelt manner through these fresh, elegant, vivid and chic illustrations, which are rich in cultural connotation and contemporary expression.
