An exhibition highlighting creativity and innovation in Pingshan District is being held at Pingshan Exhibition Gallery until Dec. 25.
The exhibition is divided into three sections, displaying designs, artwork, crafts, merchandise, and other creative fine art pieces presented by prominent cultural enterprises, organizations, primary and middle schools in Pingshan. It also features intangible cultural heritage handicrafts and garments, as well as technological gadgets from local enterprises and universities.
Over the past three months, the organizers received more than 300 submissions and ultimately selected 150 works for display. The exhibits blend culture, art, technology in diverse and innovative forms, presenting rich content. Many exhibits are award-winning works, while some are in various stages of commercial production.

Some intangible cultural heritage items have been reimagined using modern technologies, demonstrating a fusion of ancient culture with contemporary fashion. An interactive installation presented by Shenzhen Technology University in Pingshan employs digital modeling technology and robotic arms to simulate the movements of the kylin dance, revitalizing this traditional art from. In addition, the university's water rescue drone and concept racing cars creatively incorporate Chinese cultural elements into their designs.
The Pingshan Art Museum presents a board role-playing game inspired by Pingshan residents’ life stories and natural landscape, offering visitors a unique gaming experience. Many visitors expressed that the exhibition provided them with a fresh perspective on Pingshan.
