Mountains and rivers

Pingshan River Natural History Corridor 坪山河自然博物长廊

The Pingshan River Natural History Corridor features a 38-km walking trail. The eastern section stretches from Pingshan River Bridge to Shixi River, while the western section spans from Fengtian Ancestral Residence to Shuiyuan Ancestral Residence. Walking along the trail offers stunning scenery and a chance to relax.

Maluan Mountain 马峦山

Hiking is one of the most enjoyable activities in early autumn. Maluan Mountain is renowned for its large waterfalls, old Hakka villages, breathtaking natural scenery and diverse flora and fauna. Whether you seek a multi-hour trek or a leisurely walk in the woods, several trails offer different adventures and encounters with nature.

To ensure safety during the National Day holiday, Pingshan District has implemented a reservation system for parking at Maluan Mountain Park and for visitors entering the Biling Hiking Trail. Reservations can be made through the “i深圳” app, the “美丽深圳” WeChat account or the “坪山发布” WeChat account.

Situated beside Dashanpi Reservoir, Dashanpi Park preserves its original natural plants and landscapes. The greenway around the lake is an ideal spot for cycling, walking and jogging.

Dramas 

In August, the Shenzhen “Pingshan Drama” Carnival attracted numerous drama enthusiasts to Pingshan to enjoy diverse shows. During the National Day holiday, audience members can watch a Chinese comedy produced by Mahua FunAge and La Comédie Française’s French-language comedy, “Les Fourberies de Scapin.” Later this month, you can enjoy the Italian Alti & Bassi Vocal Ensemble’s a cappella concert, the Chinese drama “The Book of Life" and more performances.
