On May 1, Shenzhen reported no new local COVID-19 cases.

The city also reported 12 imported asymptomatic cases. Among the patients, one came to Shenzhen from South Korea and 11 came from China's Hong Kong.

The patients were put under closed-loop management upon arrival and later transferred to the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment. All of them are in stable condition.
