Phase One of Pingshan’s Line 1 rail transit project, the Yunba Line, is expected to be completed and have its trial run this year, according to Pingshan Release.

The 8.5-kilometer-long railway runs from Pingshan Railway Station to BYD Road and has a total of 11 stations.
The railway, built above ground, will also be connected to the Shenzhen-Shenshan High-speed Railway, Xiamen-Shenzhen Railway, Shenzhen-Daya Bay Intercity Railway and Line 14 and 16 of the Shenzhen Metro.

As the first small-capacity rail transit project in Pingshan, the project has been designed to fit in with the urban landscaping. Each station is designed with a different theme to create dynamic public traffic spaces. The parking lot for the Yunba trains will also serve as a park after construction.
