Three new branches of Pingshan Library, the Kengzi branch, the Liuhe branch, and the Jingui branch, opened Sunday, and the Liulian branch, which was closed during the COVID-19 outbreak, was also reopened on the same day.

Kengzi Branch of Pingshan Library 坑梓街道图书馆

The Kengzi Branch of Pingshan Library covers an area of 350 square meters. It has a children’s reading zone, an adults’ reading zone and a digital reading zone. Books borrowed from the three libraries can be returned to any of the public libraries in Shenzhen.

Liuhe Branch of Pingshan Library 六和社区图书馆

The Liuhe Branch of Pingshan Library covers an area of 240 square meters. It has more than 9,700 books. Books borrowed from the library can be returned to any of the public libraries in Shenzhen.

Jingui Branch of Pingshan Library 金龟自然书房分馆

The Jingui Branch of Pingshan Library, or Jingui Nature Library, is a nature-themed library. It has 3,202 books, and 243 of the books are about nature. Books borrowed from the library can be returned to any of the public libraries in Shenzhen.

Liulian Branch of Pingshan Library 六联社区图书馆

Hours: 2–5 p.m., 6–8:30 p.m. from Tuesday to Friday; 10 a.m.–12 p.m., 2–5 p.m., 6–8:30 p.m. from Saturday to Sunday; closed on Mondays

Online reservations are required except for the Jingui branch. Visitors can follow the “坪山图书馆” WeChat account, and click “服务”–“进馆预约” at the menu bar to book a visit. If you want to take a child under the age of 14 during your visit, please check the “携带儿童” option when making a reservation.
