The 2026 BrightMD Fair China was held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center from Sept. 21 to 23.

Pingshan District brought together 15 local pharmaceutical and medical device companies, including Snibe, Würzburg Dynamics, Cardiolink Science and Ascentawits. Their exhibits covered in vitro diagnostics, surgical robots, implantable devices and innovative drugs, highlighting the district’s diverse industrial ecosystem and strong R&D capabilities.

Two products from Pingshan-based Main Luck Pharmaceuticals were shortlisted for the “Innovative Drug Achievements” awards. Main Luck’s two Class 1 drugs developed in Pingshan were also included on the list. In addition, WYTD Medical Technology’s biodegradable patent foramen ovale occluder was recognized as an “Innovative Device Achievement.”

Pingshan contributed 15 of the 57 Shenzhen products selected for the 15th edition of the Catalog of Outstanding Domestic Medical Equipment. The selected products came from companies including Edan, Dakewe, Dartmon, WELLD, Goldsite and Wisemen.

These achievements underscore Pingshan’s strength in biopharmaceutical and medical device innovation while further enhancing its profile as a national bio-industry base.

The Pingshan pavilion attracted strong interest at the fair, with multiple surgical robots on display and many visitors seeking cooperation opportunities. Company representatives said the district’s well-developed industrial ecosystem, efficient government services and clinical resources support companies’ R&D and commercialization efforts.

A representative of Ascentawits said the Pingshan pavilion provides companies with a platform to showcase their products. A representative of Würzburg Dynamics noted that the pavilion enables companies to exhibit alongside other high-end medical device manufacturers, facilitating industry exchanges.
