The Greenwise Xplore Road Trip, co-organized by Shenzhen News Group in collaboration with the Publicity Department of the CPC Pingshan District Committee and BYD Co. Ltd., has been selected as one of Guangdong’s top international communication cases for 2026.

In July 2025, eight foreign vloggers from the U.K., India, Brazil, Russia, Egypt, Montenegro, Thailand, and Italy embarked on a three-day green-tech tour across Shenzhen, Zhuhai, and Guangzhou. Traveling in BYD electric vehicles, they visited landmark green-technology projects and documented China’s sustainability efforts for global audiences.

Before the journey began, the vloggers experienced BYD’s Lingyuan vehicle-mounted drone system and other cutting-edge technologies, capturing the blend of industrial innovation and eco-friendly living that defines Pingshan.

The recognition highlights the district’s growing international influence. In recent years, Pingshan has hosted numerous foreign guests, including officials and artists, while an increasing number of international influencers have visited to explore the area.

Among them is AboFlah, a popular Middle Eastern content creator. His trip to Pingshan this May sparked widespread attention across global social media platforms, with related content reaching nearly 10 million views.

International students and foreign media representatives have also made multiple trips to Pingshan, exploring its industries, smart transport, and cultural landmarks — sharing stories of China’s development through the lens of a new generation.
