A robotics application scenario matchmaking event was recently held in Pingshan District, bringing together more than 50 leading robotics companies and local manufacturers to explore smart upgrades and build a “community of the future.”

Over 100 robotics application scenarios were unveiled during the event.

The event attracted major local robotics firms — including AI² Robotics, Digital Robotics, Dexforce, LimX Dynamics, and ENGINEAI — as well as companies from Beijing, Shanghai, and Huizhou.

Leveraging its strong industrial base in new energy and intelligent connected vehicles, biopharmaceuticals, semiconductors and integrated circuits, and AI, Pingshan has built a full-chain robotics ecosystem. This robust industrial foundation provides robotics firms with a wide range of industrial application scenarios.

During the event, local industrial leaders — including Sanofi Pasteur, United Winners Laser, Hame, and Edan — outlined demand for robotics application scenarios in intelligent manufacturing upgrades. These needs covered areas such as production assembly, intelligent transfer of materials, and automated welding. Several preliminary cooperation intentions were also reached on-site.

Meanwhile, China Construction Steel Structure Intelligent Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. called for solutions including trackless welding robots, fireproof coating-spraying humanoid robots, and wall-climbing robots.

Notably, Xinhe Community in Pingshan Subdistrict — recognized as one of Guangdong Province’s 70 pilot “communities of the future” — offers rich social-governance scenarios for robotics companies. During the event, the subdistrict released application needs covering Party–masses services, government services, elderly care, and “6S” robot stores.

Many robotics firms showcased their core technologies, product strengths, and application cases. From high-precision industrial robotic arms to intelligent service robots, from special-operation robots to human–robot collaboration systems, a variety of high-tech robotic products and solutions were presented, highlighting the growing competitiveness and innovation vitality of the robotics industry.

The event enabled direct communication between technology suppliers and industrial users, accelerating the shift of robotics technologies from labs to production lines and daily life.
