A five-day job fair at Pingshan Central Park running through March 3 is offering more than 5,000 vacancies across industries including new energy and intelligent connected vehicles, next-generation electronic information, biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, and high-end equipment and instruments.

Booths from industry leaders drew particularly large crowds. BYD’s recruitment area saw long queues early on, with roles such as robotics and electrical technicians attracting strong interest. Company booths from O-Net Technologies and Kaizhong Precision Technology were also busy, with O-Net’s frontline operator positions and Kaizhong’s engineering and management trainee roles among the most inquired about.

Service areas beyond corporate recruitment zones likewise proved popular. At the career guidance and policy consultation zone, jobseekers met one-on-one with professional advisers for resume optimization, mock interviews, and explanations of employment policies.

The WeChat video channel “Pingshan Artisan Park” streamed live from the fair, hosting HR representatives who explained job requirements, salary packages, and promotion paths, interacted with viewers, and answered questions. Many jobseekers submitted resumes online during the broadcast.

On Feb. 27, nearly 50 enterprises offered thousands of positions across manufacturing, new energy, biopharmaceuticals and other high-demand sectors. The fair attracted over 1,500 on-site visitors and collected about 500 resumes, resulting in numerous preliminary matches reached between candidates and employers.

“The fair closely aligns with Pingshan’s industrial development. We received many resumes from high-quality jobseekers today, especially from technical talents in intelligent manufacturing, and hope to recruit more suitable employees in the coming days,” said a recruitment manager from a new energy company.

A recent graduate surnamed Zhou said, “Professional career advisers helped optimize my resume and provided useful guidance, and staff explained employment policies — it perfectly matched my job-search needs. I’ve already submitted resumes to three companies and am looking forward to their responses.”
