Local NewsOn Dec. 24, Pingshan District launched the development of the open-source HarmonyOS/RISC-V (OR) ecosystem, introducing supporting policies and outlining a range of application scenarios in urban governance, industrial upgrading, and public services to provide testing and training grounds for enterprises.
The move aims to make Pingshan the first district in eastern Shenzhen to fully integrate manufacturing and services and achieve widespread AI adoption. Five key scenario cooperation agreements were signed, covering domestic operating system (OS) ecosystem collaboration, intelligent dental healthcare, intelligent operations and maintenance for urban rail, HarmonyOS ecosystem deployment, and AI technology applications.
Pingshan also unveiled the Pingshan HarmonyOS Industrial Park and the Pingshan AI Innovation Park. “We chose to move into the park because Pingshan’s four key industries, including biomedicine and AI, closely align with our business,” said Wang Yin, general manager of Guangdong Guangqing Technology Co., Ltd. “These sectors require extensive application and data scenarios. Pingshan’s abundant AI application scenarios and industrial ecosystem closely match our core business and growth needs.”
To attract OR‑related firms, Pingshan has created a low‑cost incubation area in its central area covering about 20,000 square meters, offering a high-quality development environment for OR enterprises.
The AI Innovation Park, adjacent to Honor Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park and Shenzhen Technology University, supports the growth of AI companies, while the AI Future Camp provides affordable workspace for startups and has already drawn dozens of AI firms.
