Pingshan District Government’s Chinese-language website has recently been upgraded with multiple intelligent features powered by AI models, making it easier for users to find information and access services when reading web pages.

The site’s chatbot, Pingzi, can now respond with text explanations, charts, and map-based guidance, providing targeted answers rather than overwhelming users with excessive content. It delivers precise responses, highlights trending topics, and links directly to relevant government services.

When users enter a keyword, the system not only returns traditional search results but also generates AI-powered answers that accurately match information from the government website and other authoritative sources — embodying the principle of “instant answers as you search, immediate results as you ask.”

Using large language models and language-processing tools, the platform can create concise summaries and digests of articles and attached files, extracting key points to reduce reading time. Users can also ask Pingzi questions in real time while viewing a page; the chatbot supplies instant responses to help users grasp essential information and understand core content more quickly.

The website automatically identifies and indexes key terms — such as policy names and technical terms — marking them with dotted underlines. Clicking a term reveals definitions, related agencies, key documents, and intelligently recommended further reading.

In addition to existing dedicated pages for marriage registration and teacher qualification, the site’s “One-Matter Services” special section now offers guidance pages for business venue renovation and restaurant opening. These consolidated pages bring together policy documents, practical business information, required materials and procedures, and interactive consultation options to help users handle matters more efficiently.
