BYD’s luxury SUV Yangwang U8 stole the show, drawing long queues of visitors eager to experience it. An Austrian attendee praised its high-quality interior and said he was stunned by its water-floating mode, adding that he looked forward to seeing how it performs in the European market. Other visitors also noted that the new energy vehicles at the pavilion were eye-catching.

In the biopharma sector, leading companies such as Pregene, Sanofi Pasteur, Hailife, A-One Medical, and CareLife Health exhibited their latest products. In the chip and hardware sectors, Leadpower Semiconductor, Levetop Semiconductor, Emdoor Digital Technology, and Yetnorson Technology attracted many professional buyers.
The AI sector brought a strong tech presence, with long lines forming to try new demonstrations. Appotronics showcased an optical module for AR glasses that can power both eyes using a single optical system, offering improvements in optical performance, cost, and power management.

Teams from Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) presented several innovative achievements. “Pingshan District and the university provide fertile ground for research and development,” said Liang Jiajia, whose team exhibited a window-cleaning robot capable of navigating different frames. “Attending the CHTF is our team’s first time stepping out of the lab to face the market as an exhibitor. We’re proud to promote the product, seek business partners, and hope to bring it to market soon.”
Startups founded by SZTU students also made an impact. Shenzhen Ruilixin Technology Co. Ltd. showcased a new-generation data acquisition system for automobiles, while SilentGenesis Tech Co. Ltd. presented multiple projects that demonstrate its capabilities in metaverse, digital life, and holographic technology.

The Beijing Institute of Technology’s Shenzhen Automotive Research Institute showcased solid-state batteries with high-energy density and ultra-fast charging, vehicle-mounted optical communication systems, electromagnetic pulse welding technology, and other prototypes, highlighting its strengths in electrification, intelligence, and advanced manufacturing.
The institute was recently recognized as a national-level industrial intellectual property (IP) operation center. “Over the past six years, we have filed nearly 300 IP applications, with over 200 approved, and incubated 17 companies, two of which have secured tens of millions of yuan in funding,” said Liu Yang, a representative of the institute. He added that Pingshan’s well-developed industrial chain makes it highly suitable for implementing new technologies and that many domestic and international clients have expressed interest in further cooperation.

Industrial parks were also represented at the fair, including Pingshan Urban Construction Investment Smart Park, Pingshan New Energy Automobile Industrial Park, and Shenfubao Science and Technology Park. Exhibitors reported strong interest from potential tenants keen to set up operations there.
