Honor, a smart device provider, unveiled its AI ecosystem strategy and introduced the Honor AI Connect system at the Honor Global Developer Conference 2025 in Pingshan District on Oct. 23, opening its advanced AI capabilities to all partners.

The conference, held at the Yanzi Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center, gathered nearly 2,000 developers, partners and tech enthusiasts to explore the frontiers of intelligent technology.

The newly launched Honor AI Connect system is designed to serve as a core platform, allowing partners to seamlessly integrate Honor’s AI technologies into their own products and services.

Fang Fei, president of the product line at Honor Device Co. Ltd., emphasized the company’s long-term commitment to building its ecosystem during her keynote speech at the main session. She revealed that over 30 million devices have already been connected to Honor’s platform, which has been comprehensively upgraded with AI capabilities. “This system enables the transformation from internet connection to intelligent connection,” Fang said.

The platform will provide partners with three key support pillars: ecosystem empowerment, channel empowerment, and technology and brand empowerment. Leveraging its AI strengths, Honor plans to co-create intelligent solutions with partners across eight major scenarios, including smart home, apparel, pet, automotive, sports, health, and education — a comprehensive cooperation framework known as the “1 x 3 x N” model.

Fang noted that the system offers a simple and efficient integration solution, granting partners direct access to Honor’s voice, visual, and multimodal interaction capabilities, as well as cross-device AI collaboration. This is expected to substantially reduce research and development costs and accelerate the time-to-market for new intelligent products.

Visitors explore AI-powered products using Honor’s AI ecosystem at an exhibition held alongside the Honor Global Developer Conference 2025. 

An extensive exhibition ran alongside the conference, where Honor and its partners showcased their AI-powered products in an experience area divided into different zones. An intelligent chair on display attracted attention from attendees. Developed by CBD Furniture, it features multi-level vibration settings based on a Whole-body Periodical Acceleration concept, which is said to aid sleep, digestion, and physical recovery.

Li Weiting, president of Shenzhen Far Beyond Intelligent Life Co. Ltd., a company under CBD Furniture, said connecting to Honor’s AI system enables their products to interact with users more efficiently and precisely. “After getting access to the AI system, we hope that when a user instructs the chair to help them relax, our device can rapidly and accurately determine and deliver the required vibration frequency,” Li said.

Intelligent monitors are on display in the AI Pet Zone at the exhibition held during the Honor Global Developer Conference 2025.

In the AI Pet Zone, solutions such as intelligent monitors and an AI-powered pet medical inquiry service demonstrated how technology can assist pet owners.

Li Junting, product director of ecosystem business at Honor Qinxuan, Honor’s e-commerce platform, said that in the pet sector, their focus is on utilizing AI visual recognition to monitor and understand pet behavior. “We identified this as a key entry point, as there are still many unmet needs in daily pet care,” Li stated.

Through the AI Connect system, Honor is poised to deepen industry collaboration, driving innovation and shaping the future of the intelligent living landscape.
