With cameras rolling and phones in hand, eight international vloggers documented their Greenwise Xplore Road Trip across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) from July 9 to 11 — a multi-city tour spotlighting the GBA’s clean energy and technological innovations.
The journey began on July 9 at BYD’s headquarters in Pingshan District and continued through Zhuhai and Guangzhou. Along the way, the vloggers — from the U.K., India, Brazil, Russia, Egypt, Montenegro, Thailand, and Italy — shared videos and posts with their followers on platforms such as YouTube and Instagram.

At the BYD headquarters, the vloggers experienced the company’s cutting-edge technologies during a test drive and tried out the Lingyuan system, which integrates a vehicle-mounted drone capable of capturing and producing 4K videos.
During the test drive, Gloria D'Andrea, an Italian student at Shenzhen Polytechnic University, was impressed by BYD’s latest car models. “I can honestly say I have never enjoyed being in a car for more than two hours this much,” she shared in her personal account.
Jeeranun Soontornpornjaroen, a Thai student at Shenzhen University, was excited to visit BYD’s headquarters, as the company is well-known in Thailand and has begun production there. “The technology is fantastic, especially the car with the drone on top — it’s truly unique and represents the latest advancements,” she said.
Before the journey began, British vlogger Lee Barrett, standing in front of a BYD Yangwang U9, showcased the supercar’s unique movements. “Have you ever seen a car dance like this?” Barrett asked in his video.

Throughout the trip, Pingshan-made products proved essential to the vloggers — some used Honor Magic V5 phones to capture stunning snapshots, while others stayed refreshed with water from Comix Group’s V’mo Fingerprint Lock thermos cups.
The event received extensive domestic and international media coverage, highlighting the GBA’s achievements in green technology and scientific innovation.
