As the Chinese New Year approaches, the highly anticipated Spring Festival flower markets are returning to Pingshan, bringing festive cheer through a blend of tradition and innovation. These markets will offer a wide variety of flowers, festive goods, and interactive cultural experiences, creating a vibrant atmosphere to welcome the Year of the Snake.
The main flower market will be held at the camping site in Pingshan District Central Park, with a sub-venue located at the Yuelin Space shopping mall and 18 additional venues across all sub-districts. At the beloved central park, Pingshan residents can browse flowers while enjoying camping, gathering under canopies, or playing games. Sixty booths will feature flowers, festive goods, creative handicrafts, and snacks, ensuring that everyone is well-prepared for the Chinese New Year.

Clown performances, live concerts, traditional Chinese games, and free Spring Festival couplets at the market will immerse visitors in a rich festive ambience. Spring Festival couplets, or chunlian, are traditional poetic verses written on red paper strips and displayed on the front doors of homes during the Chinese New Year. They symbolize family unity, positive aspirations, and prosperity. Written in calligraphy, these couplets are an essential part of Spring Festival decorations and are believed to bring blessings and good fortune to households.
