She emphasized that Pfizer welcomes diverse forms of collaboration with Shenzhen’s biotech partners, such as business development transactions, equity investments, and mergers and acquisitions.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both parties to strengthen communication and explore potential collaborations in areas including pharmaceutical R&D and project investments. Fernando underscored the importance of leveraging Pfizer’s global expertise and resources to assist Shenzhen’s biotech firms in expanding onto the international stage, fostering mutual benefits and promoting innovation in the biopharmaceutical sector.
