Pingshan inks deals worth ¥13B at global investment promotion conference

Pingshan finalized five projects amounting to a total investment of 13 billion yuan at the 2024 Shenzhen Global Investment Promotion Conference which took place at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center on Dec. 6.

The five projects cover Pingshan’s three key industries: new energy and intelligent connected vehicles, biopharmaceuticals, and new-generation information technology. In total, Pingshan presented 32 projects with a planned investment of 57.9 billion yuan at the conference.

The conference attracted over 700 companies and institutions, including more than 200 Fortune Global 500 companies and multinational corporations from 33 countries and regions across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. During the conference, Pingshan representatives introduced the district’s industries, sharing insights and promoted the district as a prime investment destination to a global audience. Notably, at a biopharmaceutical meeting, Pingshan inked deals with Fosun Pharma, Convalife Pharmaceuticals and Ecogiant. At a new-generation information technology meeting, the Yunlu GBA R&D Center was unveiled.

As a district focused on future industries and advanced manufacturing, Pingshan has attracted a large number of companies and projects due to its strategic location, robust infrastructure, favorable policies, and efficient government services. This year, 183 excellent projects have been introduced in Pingshan.

In recent years, Pingshan has proactively sought investments from around the world, holding investment promotion activities in Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, the U.K., France, the Switzerland, Norway, and the United Arab Emirates.
