A total of 13 projects will start construction in Pingshan in the second quarter (Q2) of this year, with a combined investment of 15.1 billion yuan, and the investment for this year is 1.7 billion yuan, according to a launch ceremony for Shenzhen's Q2 project commencement.
The 13 projects in Pingshan include five industrial projects, an infrastructure project, a housing project and others. Notably, the city's urban rail Line 19's Phase 1 project is in Pingshan. Spanning 12.5 kilometers and with an investment of 12.99 billion yuan, Line 19's Phase 1 will encompass a route between Nantangwei and Julong stations, comprising a total of 12 stations.
Another notable project is the expansion of Lantern Science and Technology Industrial Park in Kengzi Subdistrict, with an investment of 400 million yuan. Covering 33,400 square meters and with a floor area of 112,000 square meters, the park focuses on high-end cosmetic research and production.
The housing project will be located in Longtian Subdistrict, while sports center renovations are also part of Pingshan’s Q2 projects.
In Shenzhen at large, Q2 will witness the initiation of 236 projects, with a total investment of 176.65 billion yuan. The investment for this year is 33.67 billion yuan.
