The UAV System Engineering major is a nationally designated undergraduate major in the aerospace field. It is an emerging interdisciplinary engineering program integrating aerospace science and technology with mechanics, control, electronic information, computer science, AI, new energy, and new materials.
It meets the development requirements of the national, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and Shenzhen's UAVs, low-altitude economy, aerospace industry, and the advanced manufacturing industry cluster. This major aims to train talents familiar with the UAV system, intelligent perception, human-machine interaction, flight control, and others. They are expected to possess abilities in UAV design, research, manufacturing, operation and more.
The Fashion and Apparel Design major, covering clothing design and jewelry design, is based on the research of historical Chinese textiles, clothing, and jewelry relics. Relying on Shenzhen's "20+8" industrial cluster and industrial chain, the major meets the need of the digital development of the fashion industry. Focusing on the three skills of traditional Chinese clothing/jewelry, contemporary clothing/jewelry design, and digital technology, the major aims to cultivate talents with research and technical capabilities.
The SZTU currently offers 39 undergraduate majors covering five disciplines: engineering, science, management, liberal arts, and art. Graduates are expected to possess a global vision, artisan spirit and innovation capabilities.
