Twelve participating teams representing different subdistricts in the city competed in 70 matches spanning four months. The event was affectionately nicknamed by local fans as the “Subdistrict Super League,” garnering praise for its pioneering integration of soccer with communities.

The impressive impact of these tournaments and the Shenzhen Subdistrict Super League in fostering public fitness and advancing the sports industry has been widely acknowledged. They are seen as injecting new vitality into soccer development in counties, townships, and villages of Guangdong.
Additionally, Pingshan, in collaboration with various partners, aims to position the Shenzhen Subdistrict Super League as a hallmark of the city, showcasing its unique features and charm.
