A job fair was held Feb. 21-24 at Pingshan District Central Park, drawing over 100 companies and thousands of jobseekers.
A total of 178 companies in the fields of intelligent connected vehicles, semiconductor and integrated circuit, high-end medical devices, and biomedicine offered more than 3,800 R&D, sales, and management positions at the fair. The companies received over 2,000 resumes, with about 1,000 job seekers potentially securing employment.

“We plan to recruit more than 300 employees and thanks to the government’s pre-event publicity, we received a large number of resumes at the fair, where we can talk with jobseekers in person,” Ma Guanlian, a senior HR manager of O-Net Technologies, said.
A jobseeker surnamed Liu said, “I just received an interview notice after submitting my resumes to several companies at the fair. Finding employment close to my home makes me happy for 2024.”
To help jobseekers find suitable jobs, professional career guides offered employment and entrepreneurship advice to jobseekers at the fair. Next, Pingshan will conduct more employment activities across its six subdistricts in early March.
