The Shenzhen Spring Festival Flower Fair's Pingshan venue opened on the morning of Feb. 3 at Pingshan District Central Park. From now through Feb. 9, 56 events are being held for residents to embrace the lively Year of the Dragon.
A six-meter-high dragon installation soars into the sky in the park, symbolizing the striving and upbeat spirit.
More than 100 flower booths have been set up in the park, where residents can not only select fresh flowers and festive snacks, but also enjoy live music, paper-cutting, handicrafts, clown parades and magic shows. A Shijing Subdistrict resident surnamed Huang praised that he could buy more products at the fair than in previous years and feel the Spring Festival vibes here.
