The Pingshan District Central Hospital of Shenzhen, a research-oriented comprehensive hospital, officially opened Dec. 18.

Yang Yifeng, a national-level talent from the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, has been appointed as the hospital’s director. A batch of domestically renowned experts will lead teams in academic research and hospital operation.

Located on Jinhui Road in Kengzi Subdistrict, 1.1 kilometers away from Shenzhen Metro Line 14’s Shatian Station, the hospital currently has 10 departments, including six outpatient departments and four medical technology departments.

Leveraging the top medical resources from the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University in Changsha, Hunan Province, the Pingshan District Central Hospital will provide citizens with comprehensive and personalized medical services. In the future, the hospital will explore areas such as technological innovation, talent development and medical services, aiming to be an excellent hospital in Guangdong and east Shenzhen.
