Pingshan Artisan Park opens

The Pingshan Artisan Park, a comprehensive service park for highly skilled talents, was officially opened Nov. 21.

Located on Cuijing Road, Longtian Subdistrict, the park covers a total area of over 11,000 square meters and consists of a five-story office building and a factory building. A hub for highly skilled talents in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the park will include several organizations: the Human Resources Research Institute, High Skilled Talents Development Alliance, Occupational Standards Research and Development Center, Skilled Talents Examination Center, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao (Pingshan) Skilled Talents Service Center, Skilled Talents Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Base, Government-School-Enterprise Cooperation Service Base, and the Artisan Spirit Cultivation Base.

During the opening event, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao (Pingshan) Skilled Talents Service Center was unveiled. Pingshan District and the Hong Kong Vocational Training Council will collaborate on building skills standards, conducte joint talent training, and promote international exchange and cooperation.

Through the park, Pingshan will also introduce more academicians, experts and R&D teams to explore the establishment of a “think tank” and a vocational skills training curriculum system that meets the needs of Pingshan’s dominant industries. It is anticipated that they will attract and cultivate more talents, providing solid support for Pingshan’s development.

During the Nov. 21 event, Pingshan District presented the consultant appointment letters to various professionals, including Lu Jianxin, chief expert of China Construction Science and Industry Corp., and IONOVA’s chief medical officer Johannes Nippgen, among others. A total of 45 individuals were awarded the Industrial Talent Certificate by Pingshan District.
