The Pingshan-based medical device firm XFT showcased its products including the lower limb suspension walking aid and the hand function rehabilitation robot at the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA) Global Summit in September.
The conference brought together top professionals and senior researchers from around the world. AOPA, as the oldest and largest association in the orthosis, prosthesis and foot orthosis industry in the United States, is a leader in the rehabilitation assistive device industry worldwide.

In addition to discussions on technological innovation, talent exchange and projects, they also visited key companies in the overseas supply chain and technological institutions, facilitating cooperation between companies.
Currently, an advanced manufacturing cluster with biomedicine, high-end medical devices and healthcare as the core has been formed within the Pingshan biotechnology industry. There are more than 120 new companies established annually, totaling more than 1,000, with an average annual production value growth rate of more than 20%. It has attracted such leading companies as Sanofi Pasteur and Sinopharm Zhijun, as well as innovative companies such as Pregene and HwaGen.
