Early this month, 30 faculty members and students from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland visited KK-Mold in Pingshan District.

As a precision mold manufacturer, KK-Mold specializes in the design, manufacturing, and supportive services for high-end molds of automotive, medical and household appliance components. Its services include product development, mold manufacturing, precision injection molding, assembly, and supply chain logistics for top global brands.

At the company’s exhibition hall, a wide range of industrial products with different functions are on display, ranging from small components the size of a thumbnail to electromechanical integrated automotive parts. All these industrial products originate from various types of molds. Swiss students and teachers visiting KK-Mold learned about the application of molds in various industrial sectors and the rapid development of the mold industry in China.

In addition, the Swiss visitors also experienced driverless robotaxis in Pingshan. “Autonomous driving enables deep integration of intelligent transportation and life, and we can feel the power of Shenzhen’s smart manufacturing. … We are delighted to experience autonomous driving in Pingshan, which allows us to understand that Pingshan not only has good industrial opportunities but also vast development potential,” said the Swiss visitors.
