According to the Shenzhen Small and Medium Enterprise Service Bureau’s recently released list of the fifth batch of city-level “little giant” firms, Pingshan has seen an addition of 11 new “little giant” enterprises that use special and sophisticated technologies to produce novel and unique products, bringing the total number of “little giant” enterprises in the district to 24.
The 11 new firms include Anteland, specializing in laser direct imaging, Shenzhen Michip Electronic Technologies, specializing in integrated circuit R&D, Antmed, specializing in high-end medical device R&D, and Kimtigo, specializing in data storage, among others.
“Little giant” firms are leading small and medium enterprises that specialize in niche sectors and are focusing on next-generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy, new materials, biomedicine and other cutting-edge fields. The continuous emergence of “little giant” firms in Pingshan reflects the district government’s efforts to foster industrial and manufacturing development, as well as to provide a favorable business environment.
