The 19th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) will be held at Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center in Bao’an District on June 7-11. Over 300 exhibitors from more than 50 countries and regions will participate in the fair.

Pingshan District’s Pavilion (No. 11A01) at the 19th ICIF in Hall 11 in Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center is designed to be an open and immersive space for visitors to explore the district’s urban construction, eco-tourism, cultural and scientific creativity and industrial innovation.

Visitors can have a glimpse into the newly released Pingshan Travel Map and 10 tourism routes that cover iconic spots in the district and focus on Pingshan’s unique natural ecological resources, historical and cultural resources, and high-end sports resources.

Pingshan not only has a rich ecological environment and high-tech industrial development but also has quality cultural resources. During the ICIF on June 7-11, Pingshan will host cultural industry investment promotion conferences, new product releases and business negotiations, utilizing the ICIF to display and sell cultural products and fuel the progress of the cultural industry.

For the ICIF, Pingshan has invited four industrial parks (Shenzhen Pingshan International Movie City, Pingshan Creative Park of Sculpture Art, Z&F Cultural Industry Park, and Pingshan Culture Center’s Culture and Innovation Experience Hall) and eight cultural enterprises (Comix Group, Eastern Cultural, Junlan Electronics, Zhengming Technology, Manp Culture, Boking Art, Yuanjing Craft, and Hualingheyi Cultural Creative) to attend the exhibition. More than 200 cultural and creative products will be showcased.

In 2022, Pingshan’s GDP reached 108 billion yuan, increasing by 14% year on year, ranking first among all counties and districts in Guangdong. At the ICIF Pingshan Pavilion, visitors can view the remarkable economic, social, cultural and sports achievements in the district through a display of cases, data, and cultural landmark and sports event photos, sensing the innovative and futuristic urban image of Pingshan.

In a section showcasing local enterprises’ cultural products, visitors can have a glance at the one-stop governmental and enterprise digital procurement service platform, various artworks such as sculptures, furniture and lights, as well as original trendy products and intangible cultural heritage products, etc. The diverse cultural and creative products are eye-catching, reflecting Pingshan’s achievements in cultivating its cultural industry and its continuous promotion of cultural projects blended with local features.

ICIF Pingshan subvenue

The 19th ICIF Pingshan subvenue is located at the Pingshan Creative Park of Sculpture Art, northeast to the picturesque Maluan Mountain. As a city-level cultural industry park, the Pingshan Creative Park of Sculpture Art has a total floor area of 15,809.46 square meters, which is a multifunctional complex of creative design, art creation, incubation, consumption and exhibition. Gathering 37 enterprises in the park, it has been the ICIF’s Pingshan subvenue for 10 years.

During this year’s ICIF, a series of events themed on “New Cultural and Creative Trend Rises in Pingshan” will be held to explore new products, new consumption models and new IPs. Inside the park’s Hall A, the achievements of the enterprises in the park will be displayed while in Hall B, new products and new consumption models initiated by new brands will be showcased. Young or trendy people should not miss the pop-up stores and booths in outdoor areas.

Roadshows and lectures on investments will be organized for enterprises to become familiar with market opportunities in Pingshan. Cultural and creative brand owners or managers will share their insights in entrepreneurship and market analysis. During the ICIF, enterprises that settle in the park will be given special subsidies.
