The Biotech Shenzhen Biomedicine Innovations Center in Pingshan has recently been selected as a national-level science and technology enterprise incubator by the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center of China’s Ministry of Science and Technology.

Located in the Shenzhen Biomedical Innovation Industrial Park, the center has an area of 10,700 square meters. It is collaborating with biotech companies and institutions to establish a biotech innovation service platform, providing technological development, achievement transformation, science and technology finance, and third-party professional services for entrepreneurs and companies in biomedicine and medical devices. It aims to cultivate and incubate biomedicine enterprises and is dedicated to promoting the high-quality development of the biomedicine industry in Pingshan and Shenzhen.

Seeking the industrialization paths for enterprises, the center holds more than 20 activities on industrial operation annually, organizing and collaborating with many universities, research institutes and technical service companies to establish think tanks. The incubating enterprises can also collectively share equipment, conduct collaborative research, and train technical talents. At the same time, the center helps enterprises be aware of latest technological development and marketing information.

The Biotech Shenzhen Biomedicine Innovations Center has also participated in funds management and opened the Shenzhen Investment Holdings Technology Finance Service Station. Collaborating with multiple finance enterprises, the center regularly visits incubating enterprises and provides consulting services in finance, taxation, equity structure, credit, lending, guarantee and financing for entrepreneurial teams.

The center also organizes more than 30 cultural and leisure activities annually. Through establishing workstations and service platforms, the center provides labor mediation and recruitment for enterprises. The center has a service team of 10 people with professional qualifications in business administration, human resources management, economics, medical electronic engineering and construction engineering; all are qualified practitioners in science and technology enterprise incubators. Their teams offer basic operation services, industrial incubation cultivation, industrial investment and technology achievement transformation, forming an organic service system for innovative companies.

The Biotech Shenzhen Biomedicine Innovations Center focuses on in vitro diagnostics, intelligent medical devices, high-value intervention consumables and cell therapy. Since its establishment in 2019, it has incubated 35 enterprises, including Cheer Sails, Tyercan, DeepCyto, Tendfo, Proxinse and Carefree Heartbeat Med.
