The 2022 China Tennis Tour CTA800 Pingshan Station will begin tomorrow at the Shenzhen (Pingshan) International Tennis Center and will last through April 22, according to a press conference held yesterday in Pingshan District.

According to Wang Zhiqiang, an official from Shenzhen’s culture, radio, tourism and sports authority, the China Tennis Tour is the first stop of the China Tennis Tour’s professional competitions this year. The Pingshan competition will feature men’s singles and doubles and women’s singles and doubles with a total prize money of 500,000 yuan.
Zhou Bing, contest director of the China Tennis Tour, said that the Pingshan International Tennis Center has 22 standard tennis courts and a stadium ideally suited for ATP 250 tournaments that can accommodate 5,000 audiences. The tennis center is also equipped with a hotel built to the standards of five-star hotels.
Li Jinghua, deputy head of Pingshan’s culture, radio, tourism and sports authority, said at the press conference that Pingshan has been committed to developing the sports industry and promoting sports among its residents in recent years. Its efforts include organizing international and national high-level events, building a public sports service system, and hosting sports events for its residents.
