Pingshan will join hands with the China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Medicines & Health Products (CCCMHPIE) to help Pingshan medical enterprises expand within the global market, Shenzhen Special Zone Daily reported.

On April 9, the China Conference for Global Pharma Partnering and the 5th Global Drug Delivery and Formulating Summit (2023) were unveiled at the Pingshan Yanzi Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center.

At the event, Pingshan District People’s Government and the commerce chamber signed a cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, the chamber will provide consultancy services regarding the latest policies, laws and regulations for the medical industry in both China and overseas, the research, development, registration and accreditation of new medicines and medical equipment, and the greater healthcare industry so as to help Pingshan medical enterprises carry out international business.

Meanwhile, the commerce chamber will host the China Conference for Global Pharma Partnering and the Global Drug Delivery and Formulating Summit in Pingshan for the next five years.

This year’s conference, themed “Open Cooperation and Innovative Development,” included a main forum, two pre-conference roundtable discussions and five parallel forums.

State-level government officials provided in-depth interpretations on topics in the medical field, including advances in international cooperation, industrial development plans, policies on approving medical products to enter the market, and medical product supervision.

In addition, representatives of global leading medical enterprises, researchers and representatives from investment institutions gathered at the conference to discuss the frontiers of biomedicine.
