Construction of the main structure of a semiconductor industrial park in Pingshan District was completed Wednesday, Shenzhen Economic Daily reported Thursday.

It will be put into use in March next year.

The park, also known as the Colorful Silicon Valley, is located in Longtian Subdistrict, with a building area of 500,000 square meters and a total investment of more than 3 billion yuan (US$410 million). After completion, its output value will exceed 20 billion yuan and its tax contribution will exceed 1 billion yuan, the report said.
