Named “Kids Only,” the garden was designed and constructed by about 30 children from the district.
The garden covers an area of about 243 square meters and is divided into different sections for growing hydroponic vegetables, planting, growing rice and making handicrafts.
The hydroponic vegetable section covers more than 10 square meters. By using intelligent soilless cultivation equipment and technology, all vegetables are automatically monitored and irrigated at regular intervals. Each of the plants is taken care of by a child.
In the planting section, eggplants, chilies, lemons, miracle berries and jasmine are grown to encourage children to learn about different types of plants and vegetables during planting.

In the rice section, dryland farming is employed to help children learn more about agriculture.

In the handicrafts section, children can participate in different activities.

In addition, five more community gardens, which are community-friendly, child-friendly and environmentally friendly, will be built in Pingshan within this year.
