Parents of China-born foreign babies may apply online for birth registration and a visa for the baby via the Shenzhen Municipal Public Security Bureau website: https://msjw.ga.sz.gov.cn/crj/crjmsjw/wsyy/ajax/bgywck/100000015485739 

Birth registration: apply within 60 days after the baby’s birth.

Visa application: apply within 120 days after birth registration is completed and the baby’s passport (or international travel document) is obtained.
