Bus routes PJ67, PJ69 (Pingshan-Xichong, Yangmeikeng)

Say goodbye to complicated transfers. Shenzhen Eastern Bus has launched two routes, providing direct service from Pingshan to the Xichong Dark Sky Planetarium and the coastal scenic area of Yangmeikeng in Dapeng New Area.

The routes operate on weekends and public holidays, with a fare of 20 yuan. PJ67 departs from Shatian at 9 a.m. and returns from the Dark Sky Planetarium at 6 p.m. PJ69 departs from Shatian at 9 a.m. and returns from Yangmeikeng at 6 p.m. To ensure timely departures, passengers are advised to check the schedule in the “车来了精准实时公交” WeChat miniprogram before traveling. PJ67 stops at Shatian Metro Station ② (沙田地铁站②), Longguangcheng (龙光城), SZTU Hospital (深技大校医院), Technology University Metro Station East (技术大学地铁站东), and Dark Sky Planetarium Transfer Station (暗夜天文馆换乘站).

PJ69 stops at Shatian Metro Station ②, Longguangcheng, SZTU Hospital, Technology University Metro Station East, and Yangmeikeng (杨梅坑).

Note: The Xichong Dark Sky Planetarium (西涌暗夜天文馆) and the Shenzhen Astronomical Observatory (深圳天文台) are two different venues, separated by about 4.5 kilometers. The observatory requires reservations via its official WeChat account (ID: shenzhentianwen).

From the planetarium, you can walk or cycle to Xichong Beach. If you plan to stay overnight to observe fireflies at nearby villages, take a short ride or cycle to the villages. May to July is the best season for firefly sightings.
