Consumers who sell their old passenger cars between Jan. 1, 2025, and Dec. 31, 2025, and then purchase a new energy vehicle (NEV) or a fuel-powered vehicle that meets the National VI emissions standards in Shenzhen between Jan. 1, 2025, and Dec. 31, 2025, will be eligible for a subsidy.
For passenger cars priced between 40,000 yuan and 69,999 yuan, the subsidy for an NEV is 5,000 yuan, while for a fuel-powered car, it is 4,000 yuan. For cars priced between 70,000 yuan and 149,999 yuan, the subsidy for an NEV is 9,000 yuan, and for a fuel-powered vehicle, it is 8,000 yuan. For vehicles priced at 150,000 yuan and 249,999 yuan, the subsidy for an NEV is 13,000 yuan, and for a fuel-powered vehicle, it is 12,000 yuan. For cars priced at 250,000 yuan and above, the subsidy for an NEV is 15,000 yuan, and for a fuel-powered vehicle, it is 13,000 yuan.
People can purchase vehicles at eligible dealerships, register their newly acquired cars, and then apply for subsidies via the WeChat miniprogram "深圳汽车置换更新".
