The Seventh Pingshan Happy Shopping Festival opened Aug. 25 at the Holiday World shopping mall in Pingshan.

Running through October, the festival will hold night markets and cultural activities at Holiday World, Longping Rainbow Department Store, Pingshan Rainbow Department Store and Caring Plaza. The Grand Skylight International Hotel Shenzhen Pingshan, X-INN and Ginmau Garden Hotel will offer dining and accommodation discounts. Some automobile 4S stores in the district will also give discounts to people intending to buy cars.

Meanwhile, at the opening of the shopping festival, nearly 20 brands, including BMW, Nissan, Atour and Tims, were invited to participate in a business promotion fair. During the fair, several brands including BMW, Uniqlo and Atour expressed their intentions to establish a presence in Pingshan.

During this shopping festival, the revised Pingshan consumption map and a comprehensive guide for large-scale commercial enterprises have been released. The revised consumption map includes new features such as the Pingshan specialty list, distinctive street blocks, special events, as well as consumers’ guidance for visitors to Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
