In Pingshan, residents and tourists can visit Shenzhen Pingle Orthopedic Hospital (Shenzhen Pingshan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital) on Lanjin 4th Road to receive antivenin shots, which are effective for bites from pit vipers, coral snakes, ancistrodon acutus, and cobras.

Before arriving at the hospital, it is advised to rinse the wound with clean water to reduce venom residue, closely monitor the victim’s consciousness and breathing, and document the snake's appearance, preferably with a photo, to assist doctors in identifying the species for precise treatment, according to the guidelines.

In the event of finding snakes, please remain calm and do not attempt to capture or chase them. Residents are also advised to close all doors and windows, when necessary, to prevent snakes and other reptiles from entering your home.
