The Greater Bay Area International Vaccine Innovation Center, the first of its kind in China, is located in Pingshan Biology Innovation Industrial Park.

The center, built by Sanofi Pasteur, the world’s largest company devoted entirely to vaccines, is more like a vaccine museum with 14 vaccine display sections open to the public. It is also a science popularization base that offers the public an immersive experience to learn knowledge about vaccines.

In addition, the center displays a 5G smart vaccination clinic and unmanned vaccination system which covers the whole vaccination process scenarios from research, transportation, tracking to on-cloud registration, pre-checks, vaccination and remote treatment.

The innovation center, according to Zhang Heping, general manager of Sanofi Pasteur China, will be a platform for commercial incubation and innovation technology incubation, and support innovative technologies and achievement displays, enterprises’ roadshows, investor matchmaking and talent training. The center will enhance cooperation in industries, research and education and seek the best vaccine innovation solutions.
