Shenzhen is offering more than 10,000 apartments in 109 communities across the city for graduates of 2025 who are seeking jobs in the city, allowing them to stay rent-free for 15 days.

While graduates will not have to pay rent, they are responsible for water and electricity bills, as well as cleaning fees (ranging from 6 to 10 yuan per day) upon departure. A refundable deposit of 500 yuan is required upon arrival.

Graduates will benefit from a rental discount and a 188-yuan coupon, which can be applied toward rent, if they wish to extend their stay beyond the initial 15-day free period. 

The apartments come equipped with essential amenities, including an air conditioner, a washing machine, a bed with bedding, and other basic furniture.

Eligible graduates can apply for the free accommodation through the “安居乐寓公寓” WeChat account until June 30. To apply, click on “服务” in the WeChat menu bar, then select “申请通道” under the “深梦扬帆” section. You can then enter keywords related to your location to search for available apartments and select your accommodation dates.

Applicants must provide proof of their education and can only secure the free 15-day accommodation once. As the application process involves verification, it is recommended that applicants apply at least five days before their intended stay.

In Pingshan District, such free apartments (安居乐寓坪山店) are located in Dawan New Village (大万新村). Take Shenzhen Metro Line 16 to Pinghuan Station (坪环站) and then walk southward for about 600 meters.
