I don’t work or study at Shenzhen Technology University. Can I use its library and canteens?
Yes. At Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU), you can visit the library and dine at its campus canteens.
Booking is required to enter the library. For first-time reservations, visitors must correctly answer 8 out of 10 questions in Chinese on library etiquette on the online reservation page.
The library is open from Monday to Saturday: 8:30 a.m.-10:30 p.m.; Sunday: 8:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Hours may be adjusted during winter/summer breaks and public holidays. Access may also be temporarily suspended during major campus events or peak exam periods. Floors 2-6 are open to the public, offering in-library reading, seating, and selected cultural activities.

At the canteens, payment can be made via WeChat Pay or Alipay, with an added 30% service charge. Canteens offer a mix of Chinese and Western light meals, Cantonese dishes, bakery items, desserts, and malatang hot pot.
To maintain normal academic and campus order, classrooms, labs, and dormitories are not open for visits.
