The first Travel Pingshan Culture and Tourism Season was launched April 28 at Maluan Mountain Park. The organizer unveiled the Pingshan Travel Map, 10 tourism routes, four promotional activities and six cultural activities, covering dining, accommodation, traffic, traveling, shopping and entertainment.

The travel routes cover iconic spots in the district, such as Dawan Ancestral Residence, Wenwu Temple, Nanzhong School, Pingshan Old Street, Pingshan Theater, Pingshan Art Museum, Pingshan Library, Dongjiang Column Memorial Hall, Shuiyuan Ancestral Residence, Jingui Camp Town, Maluan Mountain, Gengzi First Uprising Old Site, Shenzhen Technology University, Pingshan Wetland Park, Pingshan Central Park, Pingshan Children’s Park and BYD.

More than 400 shops and organizations including Pingshan Holiday World, Pingshan Rainbow Department Store, Longping Rainbow Department Store, 11 Pingshan Book Rooms, Yepsun Quality and TeaYork Hub are offering discounts through the end of May. Many items in the Longping Rainbow Department Store are half-price, TeaYork Hub’s online store is holding a “buy one get one free” event, a set meal at Swallow House Japanese Restaurant inside Grand Skylight International Hotel costs only 429 yuan, and a dinner buffet at the hotel’s Grand Kitchen Western Restaurant is 238 yuan per person. Locals can also claim coupons on the “i深圳” app and the coupons can be used in sports facilities in Shenzhen.

In recent years, Pingshan District has been vigorously promoting the cultural and tourism sectors, has continuously improved tourism facilities, and has integrated unique natural ecological resources, historical and humanistic resources, and high-end cultural and sports resources. The district has attracted a large number of domestic and foreign tourists and has gradually become a favorite destination for tourists. The first Travel Pingshan Culture and Tourism Season fully displays Pingshan’s quality cultural and tourism resources, which will promote Pingshan’s cultural and tourism industries to a new level.

Pingshan will accelerate the construction of the Shenzhen Natural Museum, the Kengzi Science and Technology Culture Center and the Pingshan Sports Center, continue to transform the Dawan Ancestral Residence cultural block and build the Jingu Nature Eco-Art Village block, protect and revitalize the Maluan Mountain ancient Hakka villages, and design more distinctive high-end cultural tourism projects.
