A household with a total of more than four individuals (including overseas residents holding valid long-term residence permits in Shenzhen) can apply to increase the tiered gas consumption base. For each additional person, the gas consumption for each tier can be increased by six cubic meters per month. Users can apply for this at the Shenzhen Gas Group’s outlets, presenting proof issued by the local public security department certifying that they reside together.
